On 25 November 2022, the EU Council has decided restrictive measures against Haiti, in the form of arms embargo, travel restrictions and asset freezes. The freezing of funds concerns natural or legal persons, entities and bodies identified by the United Nations Security Council or the Sanctions Committee as being responsible for or complicit in, or having engaged in, directly or indirectly, actions that threaten the peace, security or stability of Haiti, including but not limited to natural or legal persons having threatened the peace, security or stability of Haiti.

A list indicated the persons whose funds and economic resources are frozen.
Other sanctions
EU Member States must prevent the entry into, and the transit through, their territories, with regard to listed persons.
